Subscription amount of £18.50 taken out without my knowledge. 1st order, asked if I wanted it, declined.
2nd order few weeks later, not asked if i wanted it, yet £18.50 taken from my bank account. Good job i had just received a bank statement and saw charge on there. Disgusted.
Not knowing the company i was worried about spending a lot of money. Every thing has been spot on. Ordering easy, wished things been cheeper, delivery was so quick i was very happy. Thank you to all the staff. Xx
One of my reasons for writing is to say that I have received refund money from Easylife. As my bank details had been compromised (for other reasons) they no longer had my latest bank details and paid both amounts to my credit card.
I should also add that I had had a trial period with the Gardening Club but that letter had arrived in good time and I was able to opt out.
While waiting for the latest Rewards letter I read other peoples’ reviews and became suspicious of Easylife. I rang them to say that I was still waiting for the letter and they extended the period. In spite of this Easylife took £18.50 from my account on Monday 16 May (before the end of the original trial period) and have made no attempt to return this money. They have confirmed that I have opted out of this reward scheme.
I think the Rewards Scheme is unethical and they should not be targeting people in this way. I have been caught out by trial periods in the past (not with Easylife) and from other people’s comments they are targeting vulnerable people.
I was thinking of referring this matter to Rip Off Britain but have managed to make some headway with Easylife.
I ordered from the catalogue in feb 22 and there was a free gift of an adult colouring book , which made me order from here instead of another company that I usually use
The free gift never arrived ! I have emailed 5 times to ask where my free gift is , they take ages around 3 weeks to answer each email !! and each time I receive the same email back saying it’s been sent to the relevant team to resolve ! And told they had ran out due to high demand ?? And they will send the free gift soon .. however The new catalogue is offering the same free gift 6 months later ? I still have not received the free gift , and customer services are not bothered ! I won’t be buying from this company again
Terrible customer service
I find your customer service very slow when I complained about how long I have been waiting for a refund, I thought they were very rude, I am very dissapointed with the service I received from them
