Thought id give Smarty a second chance. Tried to activate one of their Sim cards. It wouldn't let me choose the price and plan advertised on their website. I was unable to speak to anyone to resolve the issue or actually get the plan i needed. It kept telling me to use the chat bot but this kept giving generic or unrelated replies. It cut me off or closed the chat three times during the morning. A whole morning wasted. Useless.

If I could give no stars I would. Lost my number completely 2 times in a week. I can't use phone repeatedly messaged as you can't call as customer service is in India. You just get lip service nothing happens. I'm losing money as I can't use my number. Stay away from this company

I'm now updating my review as I've remained with Smarty for about a year after switching from EE. I took their referal code offer through a friend which meant I got a free first month to try them and u can cancel with them any time as its a rolling contract, so it seemed worth a try, and I can honestly say I've never been happier with any phone service for such unbeatable prices. At first I noticed I had better signal in my cave of a flat (Smarty uses 3 masts) and I've managed to cut my monthly costs which were about £40 a month for unlimited texts, calls and data with EE, to the exact same package for £16 a month with Smarty, but with the added freedom of a month by month rolling contract. I couldn't find that deal anywhere else... I liked the no strings option of trying for a free month thru my friend, to make sure I was happy with the signal etc.

Switched to Smarty this month & wish I'd used them sooner. Number transferred within 24 hours & the SIM swap over was fine. Great signal & love the wi-fi calling. Their pricing is amazing too & great that we get free EU roaming. The app is great to use too & love how you can keep track of your plan etc on there. The staff are lovely & so helpful.

Paid add on if £15 as was going to Dubai, lasted just 10 minutes when arrived. Didn’t make a call or send a text!
No point in using a phone with a Smarty Sim if you’re travelling outside of the EU.

Had a Smarty SIM card for the last few years put into an old phone for my son to use. Never had any problems with service, cheap good deal, money refunded for Data not used. Found the Dashboard easy to use, never had any problems. Unfortunately we have now had to get my son a new phone through a new provider but Smarty automatically stopped taking my DD and closed my account without me having to even get in touch, giving me warning via email. I will definitely use them again in the future. A happy customer!

orderwd a sim via anazon which was cheaper with prepaid credit off £20. setup and creating account was easy@although problem that i was chrged even though i had pre -paid credit. a quick chat via the messenger app and money refunded sithin 24hrs. i had it as a test payg sim fir a few weeks. but now ive PAC my contract mobile over. now im fully SMARTY and so is my partner. happy to say signal is great [three] values is awesome and going. hoa quidco gets you $15 cashback too

Cannot speak to anyone , the sim card does not work , I have emailed twice and through the chat program no response after 24 hours, waste of space
